Do you like water sports, such as surfing, sailing, rowing, swimming and water polo, and do you regularly suffer from ear inflammation or infection? Custom-made Elacin Swim earplugs can help.
If you have tubes or a perforated eardrum, it is important that no water enters the ear canal while swimming. Protect your ears with Elacin Swim. These custom-made earplugs do not have filters and completely seal the ear canal from water. This way, you reduce the risk of inflammation and enjoy activities in and on the water with no worries.
Elacin Swim is designed to keep water out of the ear canal. It is the ideal solution for:
• Custom-made from an impression of your own ear, for a complete seal
• Made of extra-soft, lightweight material
• Closes the ear canal to water and dust
• Easy to insert and remove
• Available in floating or non-floating material — the floating version has a lower specific gravity than water, so it will not sink if it comes out. Let us know which you would like when you order.
We need an impression of your ear canals to make your earplugs. Choose the option that suits you:
I can supply my own in ear impressions — if you already have impressions, or your audiologist can take them, send them to us and we will take care of the rest.
Include Audiology Appointment ( Australia Wide ) — we arrange an appointment with an audiologist near you at a time that suits. The audiologist forwards your impressions to us. The cost of the appointment is included in the price you pay here — there is nothing further to pay for the fitting.
Include on-site impressions ( Perth, WA only ) — one of our trained technicians comes to you and takes the impressions at your home or workplace.
Production takes around two weeks. We post your earplugs to the address on your order.
We do not take ear impressions for children under 16. We refer them to a paediatric audiologist, who takes the impressions and sends them to us — we then make the earplugs as normal. Get in touch at admin@hearsafeaustralia.com.au and we will help you arrange it. For younger children who do not need a custom fit, our Elacin Universal Swim plugs are ready to wear with no impression needed.
Once we have your ear impressions for this order, we can make you a second pair with no further appointment and no extra fitting cost — so Elacin Relax sleep plugs are $160 a pair when you add them to your order, reduced from their usual $190 to $295 and available only alongside a custom earplug order.
Relax plugs are moulded in the same soft medical grade silicone but made for sleeping — they take the edge off snoring, traffic and daytime noise so shift workers and light sleepers can rest properly.
Because Elacin earplugs are custom-made to fit your ears, we don't offer standard change-of-mind returns — a custom mould can't be resold. Instead, we stand behind the fit and comfort of every pair. If your earplugs feel uncomfortable, don't seal properly, or need adjusting within 30 days of delivery, contact us at admin@hearsafeaustralia.com.au and we'll arrange a refit, adjustment, or remake at no extra cost.
